Dhahi praises skills of police graduates

DUBAI—Lt-General Dhahi Khalfan Tamim, Commander-in-Chief of the Dubai Police, yesterday attended the graduation ceremony on the conclusion of a course for patrol officials at the Police Training City at Al Rawayia.

Brigadier Abdul Rahman Rafee, Director of General Department of Community Service, Khamis Mattar Al Mazin, Director of General Department of Criminal Investigation Department, and directors of police stations and other senior officials were also present on the occasion.

Lt-Gen Dhahi praised the skills of the 38 graduates who attended the training course.

He said that the graduates had proved their ability by successfully completing the three-month tough course on protection methods and techniques of dealing with dangerous criminals in addition to driving, shooting and self defence.

He highlighted the importance of sport and mental training for the police patrol officials to provide the utmost security to the residents.
