“We more than doubled our financial target for the competition,” said Ahmed H Bahrozyan, Head of e-Government Services at Dubai Municipality and team leader for the group working with the Mohammed bin Rashid Programme for Leadership Development.

“It’s a pleasure to donate Dh108,000 to the Rashid Centre where the funds will benefit such a worthy cause. We appreciate the support of all 16 advertising agencies that submitted campaigns and the sponsors who made this project a success,” Bahrozyan said.

With the original target of raising a minimum of Dh50,000, the competition challenged the creative minds from advertising agencies in the UAE to develop a powerful and insightful print ad campaign about Rashid Centre.

Abdulhamid Juma, CEO Dubai Media City, presented the award certificates to the participating agencies during the ceremony.

GMASCO was announced the winner for its moving campaign “I am” based on the compassionate nature of the campaign provoking thoughtful reflection on the challenges faced by disable children and their families.
