The fence around the company's premises had been cut by the thieves.

Police have collected fingerprints from the scene.

The Concave Trading Company's security official informed the police that at 5am he went to the prayer hall at the end of the building. When he returned, he found the light electrical items missing but the heavy equipment were left untounched.

Four labourers who are staying at the company's establishment testified that the security man had gone about his usual rounds of the premises and went to the hall for performing prayers. They in turn had gone to sleep.

An official of the company said that this was not the first theft and 25 days back, some materials had been stolen. The

police were yet to arrest any of the criminals involved. The security guard who was then posted there, had been removed and another guard appointed.

He said it appeared that the criminals had tracked the guard's movements.
