Rashid Mujlad said one man, M. O., left a small bag of cash in the car, which he had parked outside the office before he went to settle the electricity bills. Before he entered the office, he had opened the bag and had removed some money to pay his bills. The victim disclosed there were several people waiting in the parking lot and probably one of them might have seen him taking the money and going inside the office.

He added: “When the police operation received the complaint, the investigation officer and a forensic technician were immediately rushed to the place of the accident to conduct an investigation and take the fingerprints from the car to help the process of search and investigation.

The police attributed the theft to the negligence of the driver who they say should not have left such a big amount of money in the car. He urged the public to be careful while dealing with cash or carrying big amounts of money or precious items such as gold. The negligence of people by leaving their belongings unsecured help in tempting people to commit thefts.
