As per the court records, N.Q, 29, stole from Paris Gallery where he used to work as a delivery boy 300 Euros and a credit card issued by HSBC Bank. He also forged the signature of the credit card's holder on the purchase receipt.

In his testimony, the victim M.D, 33, a salesman from Romania, said he went to his car on March 19 this year after work only to find his stuff in a total mess. "Nearly 300 Euros and an HSBC credit card were missing from my wallet. On the next day, I verified through the CCTV installed in the shop that N.Q. was the one who entered my office at Paris Gallery. I informed the security and they questioned the suspect. The latter admitted going into my office to steal my car's key.”

The defendant had earlier admitted stealing the money and the credit card belonging to M.D. and that he bought pre-paid mobile cards worth of Dh 150.
