The Al Furdha Honours, also dedicated to those inspectors who made the best suggestions through the Suggestions and Rewards Scheme (SRS), was hosted by Dubai Customs Director-General Ahmed Butti Ahmed with the participation of Muhammed Al Marri, Executive Director of the Customs Operations, and Ali Almughawi, Executive Director of Airports Operations Department.

Inspectors were presented with medals, certificates of recognition and financial rewards.

Ahmed Butti commended "the efforts made by the inspectors being stationed at the first defence line protecting the sea, land and air ports of our beloved emirate".

"You can now be seen as a vital part of the customs' core business constituting the most important elements of the customs process as a whole," he said.
