CP of Ras Al Khaimah chairs meeting of Executive Council

RAS AL KHAIMAH - Shaikh Mohammed bin Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Crown Prince of Ras al-Khaimah today chaired the 3rd ordinary meeting of the Executive Council of the year 2013.

The council discussed the topics on its agenda dealing with enhancing the government services and development of local legislation and promoting government institutional work.

It called for the inclusive participation of all leading government institutions in the Institutional Leadership Excellence Programme. The council endorsed that all the autonomous and semi autonomous public agencies will participate in the award as from 2013.

The Council also called for holding an open meeting between the Sheikh Saqr Programme for Government Excellence and senior government officials to address the challenges and identify ways to promote positive participation and broaden base of the award through inviting ministries and federal agencies.

The council also discussed the report submitted by the Sheikh Saqr Programme for Government Excellence about the results of the excellence of government bodies in the emirate in 2012, and approved a package of procedures to enhance government performance and excellence.

The council briefed on the memorandum submitted by the legal counselor regarding the unified residential, investment and commercial lease contract that regulate the relationship between landlord and tenant.

It was briefed on the memo submitted by the Department of Land and Property on land transfer and real estate laws in the Emirate. It was also briefed on a number of reports submitted by the municipality on the progress of work in a range of service projects regarding the establishment a centre of government services in the southern region and economic project in the emirate.

The meeting was attended by Sheikh Omar bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Sheikh Salem bin Sultan bin Saqr Al-Qasimi, Chairman of the Department of Civil Aviation and a number of senior officials.
