Labour Attache Annabella Oliveros said that the courses on offer for Filipino expatriates include Arabic Language and Culture, Autocad 2000 and Basic Computer.
The course on Arabic Language and Culture, which will commence on March 7, will take place every Friday from 5pm to 8 pm. The course deals with reading and writing in Arabic, including lectures on Islamic culture. It will be handled by Filipino instructors from the Muslim association of Al Firqatun Naajiya.
Autocad 2000 will be held from 1pm to 4pm every Friday. The course, which begins on March 14, will be conducted by instructors headed by Lito Morong from Quezonian organisation. The course will be ideal for those with previous technical background as it pertains to computerised two dimensional drawings of architectural and engineering plans.
Basic Computer will comprise basic computerised operations, computer architecture, disk operating system and Window-based software which include MS Word, Excel, Access and Powerpoint.
