Course on 'writing police reports'

SHARJAH — The Sharjah Police yesterday concluded a course on "Writing Police Reports" for 13 policewomen rendering their services for different departments. Major Waheed Salem Al Serkal, Manager of the Director of Sharjah Police office, distributed certificates to the Sharjah women police graduates.

Total quality

SHARJAH — Sharjah Police Academy organised a lecture Towards Implementing Total Quality at the Academy premises yesterday.

The lecture — organised in collaboration with Research Centre — was delivered by Major Abdullah Ibrahim, Director of Sharjah Police Centre, in the presence of Ibrahim bin Nassar, Director of Sharjah Police Academy .

Meanwhile, the Department of Planning and Development in Sharjah Police also organised a lecture The Strategic Model for Self Development at the Shrjah Traffic Department premises. As many as 48 Sharjah police staff members as well as officials from the Ministry of Health and Sharjah Economic Department attended the lecture which aimed at enhancing the security skills and teaching the importance of self-development in achieving strategic objectives in different work sectors.

Conference

SHARJAH — The charity organisation ‘Friends of Cancer Patients’ recently attended a major conference in Qatar to address problems, issues and progress being made in the field of breast cancer.

The conference which was held from April 30 to May 1, included participation from the President Sawsan Jafar and Honorary Board Member Ameera bin Karam from the UAE-based organisation ‘Friends of Cancer Patients’.
