First Security Group (FSG) has started operating an integrated training centre facility at the Gold and Diamond Park, which will provide training for security guards working in various companies in the UAE.

The opening ceremony was attended by FSG’s CEO and Board Member Maj-Gen. Abdul Aziz Al Bannai and the company’s Director-General of Operation Riaan Smuts.

“The centre is dedicated to security training facility and will train security guards to deal with different security issues like terrorism, theft and emergencies like fire or accidents,” said Maj-Gen. Al Bannai.

“Our aim is to establish a training academy for security guards. The centre offers basic and advanced courses for men and women security guards,” he added.

The new training centre comprises fully equipped and modern classrooms and caters to the development needs of corporate clients like security companies and individuals.

“We have taken into consideration all specifics and demands of the private security industry in Dubai and the centre offers a 24-hour service to meet the requirements of our clients,” said Japie Uys, divisional manager of training centre.

“The shift training will enable us to offer more flexibility to our clients, the majority of whom are running non-stop operation. The centre will conduct special programmes for women given the increasing demand of female security personnel,” he added.
