Minimum temperature in internal areas on Tuesday ranged between 15 degree Celsius and 22 degree Celsius while mountain regions hit a low of 14 degree Celsius.

Deeper areas of the sea were reported to be rough in the afternoon, and light winds kicked up dust and sand over some areas leading to low horizontal visibility.

According to the official weather authorities, similar conditions may continue and the country may experience unstable weather over the next three days.

There may be chances of rainfall during nighttime mainly in the Western Region and islands, and clouds are expected to build-up over time.

Forecasters also predict hazy conditions early in the morning. Sea waves are expected to rise up to five to seven feet in height in the afternoon.

Residents and motorists have been warned to be attentive and cautious as weather conditions may cause a drop in visibility and roads may become slippery. Authorities also urge people to avoid going to sea and beach in the coming days.
