Cooks steal wages!
DUBAI — The Dubai Criminal Court yesterday ruled two-month jail terms for two Indian cooks. On August 4, 2004, the defendants with other accomplices stole Dh9,000 from the wages of a private company.
The two defendants and others met the victims, who were responsible for the delivery of the employees’ wages at the company compound. They were highly drunk and lifted what money they could lay their hands on and took to their heels. The victims called for help and together with others were able to capture the two Indian cooks, while the rest are still at large.
A wanted circular was issued for their arrest.
