Contest on new toll-free service

ABU DHABI — Emirates Telecommunications Corporation (Etisalat) has announced the launch of a radio contest to increase awareness of the new Toll Free service Alphanumeric Dialling. Callers to participating radio stations will be asked the numbers that correspond to a particular word and the winners will receive prizes from an array of sponsors.

With the launch of the new Toll Free Service, businesses can now have their name representing their toll free contact number.

On 104.8FM as well as 89.1FM, the contests will be broadcast between 1pm and 3pm and there will be two more contests after 8pm. On Emarat FM, the contests will be between 8pm and midnight. With three contests a day on each station, nine winners will be selected each day, and with the competition running every weekday for two weeks there will be a total of 90 winners by the end of the campaign.
