Conference on 'Occupational Health'
ABU DHABI - The Federal Nursing Department at the Ministry of Health, in cooperation with the Community Care Nursing Professional Group, will be holding a conference on "Occupational Health" on October 15 at the Al Noor Hospital in Abu Dhabi.
According to a spokesman, more than 60 nurses and other healthcare professionals are expected in the capital to participate in the seminar. Dr Anita S. Merwe, the Acting Director and Adviser of the department, said the main focus of this important seminar was highlighting the ethics involved in occupational health.
The event will also discuss other issues, including occupational health practice in oil industry, infectious hazards in occupational health and impact of occupational risks on health care professionals.
