Chinese herbal medicine launched

DUBAI - Golden Throat, China's most popular throat protection lozenge, was unveiled to the local media on Saturday at a Press conference attended by Chinese Consul General in Dubai, Yang Weiguo, and Jiang Peizhen, Managing Director of Guangxi Jinsangzi Co. Ltd., the manufacturers of this throat lozenge that incorporates a wide range of traditional Chinese herbs in its formula.

The Golden Throat lozenge, dubbed the "wonder throat candy" by the manufacturers, will be launched during the Spring Trade Fair in Dubai from today. Guangxi Jinsangzi Co. Ltd. has annual sales of $75 million and has now embarked on an overseas expansion drive. The throat lozenge is widely sold in China, Singapore, Malaysia, US and Russia.

The candy has proved to be an effective remedy for soothing the throat. It was invented by Chinese biologist, Professor Wang Yaofa and developed by Guangxi Jinsangzi, which has a long history of traditional Chinese medicine and cytology theory.

This unique candy uses high quality herbal ingredients extracted from watermelon frost, Luohan fruit, eucalyptus oil, menthol crystals and a number of other traditional herbs.

An enterprising businesswoman, Ms. Jiang said, "We are extremely pleased to launch our Golden Throat herbal lozenge in this market. Our product has several unique properties.
