Colonel Hamad Al Amemi, Director of Abu Dhabi Police, said the services will include issuance and renewal of visa and residency permits as well as passports for nationals and traffic services.

“The comprehensive service has been successful at the police stations of Rahba and Bani Yas. It will be introduced at other police centres in the emirate of Abu Dhabi,” he told reporters.

He added that all departments will be turned into full providers of comprehensive police services as soon as the infrastructure is put in place, technical human resources trained and advanced technology installed.

He said the police will offer home security service for people going abroad during the summer vacation.

“Home owners who are planning to travel overseas are expected to notify the next-door police centre about the schedule of his departure and arrival,” he said pointing out the home owner should not leave behind any money and valuables.
