The call is part of a charity programme organised by Zat Al Netaqain School.

The mother of the 14-year-old boy said: "My son lost vision in the right eye when he was in grade six. A plastic pellet from a toy gun which his friend fired while playing hit the eye. The attempts to cure the loss of sight have failed.

"My son has been suffering the side effects of the incident over the past three years such as fainting and high blood pressure resulting from high blood pressure in the right eye. He has also contracted chronic headache.”
