Al Naboudah said: “Dubai Cares is another commendable initiative from Dubai that demonstrates to the world a new definition of charity work. It has illustrated the true quality of Dubai’s multi-cultural society in support of a noble cause. Education is a long-term investment that will help underprivileged children across the world take their rightful place as positive contributors to their societies.”

The campaign, launched on September 19, has surpassed all expectations by raising over Dh1 billion in less than a month. It was recently extended by two more weeks, to maintain the unprecedented fund-raising momentum set by the community in Dubai, and to eventually benefit a larger number of children in the identified countries.
