Building catches fire in Riqqa area
DUBAI — The building housing the Ministry of Foreign Affairs office and Russian consulate in Dubai was evacuated after a fire broke out there yesterday, civil defence officials said.
The fire was noticed when thick black smoke started coming out from the second floor of the building located in Al Riqqa area in Deira, eyewitnesses said.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is located on the third floor of the building.
