Book on Dr Sudais
DUBAI — The Dubai International Holy Quran Award (Dihqa) released a book on Dr Abdul Rahman Al Sudais, preacher and Imam of the Holy Mosque in Makkah who won the Islamic Personality of the Award's ninth session held last Ramadan.
The book also included a speech of Dr Al Sudais that he delivered during the closing ceremony of the Dubai International Holy Quran Award and his photographs with General Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and UAE Defence Minister, as well as many others activities he participated in, during his stay in Dubai.
The book also included articles that covered the activities related to the Islamic personality Dr Al Sudais.
Ahmad Al Zahed, Head of the Award's Media Unit, said that the book will be made available at the Pavilion of the Award in Dubai Shopping Festival 2006, in addition to a CD of the Award's closing ceremony.
