Book of speeches highlighting UAE Rulers’ achievements released

DUBAI — The Diplomatic Ladies Association recently released a book titled ‘Honest Men’ recently to mark the 36th anniversary of UAE National Day.

Maha Harka, public relations officer of the association, said around 15,000 copies of the book were distributed free of charge among local dignitaries, VIPs, and companies and businessmen in the UAE and abroad.

She said that Nawal Saleh Al Shalhoop, chairperson of the association, had supervised the publishing of the book which took over six months in the making.

The book contains speeches of Shaikha Hind bint Maktoum bin Juma Al Maktoum, wife of His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and a speech of Shaikha Jawaher bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, wife of His Highness Dr Shaikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, and another by Shaikha Amina bint Humaid Al Tayer, Head of the Dubai Women Association

Maha said the Diplomatic Ladies Association published one book every year on the occasion of National Day to highlight the achievements made by the rulers of the country and the activities of the association.

She added that the book also reflected the development and achievements made by UAE leaders.

“We are highly impressed by the development witnessed in the UAE and efforts made by the wise leaders,” she said, and added the book would help in documenting the country’s progress and achievements.
