Bohras to celebrate Syedna's birthday today
DUBAI — The Dawoodi Bohra Muslim Community in the UAE will mark the 96th birthday of their spiritual leader Dr Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin Saheb today. Special prayer meetings for world peace and harmony will be held at all community centres.
A number of events including thanksgiving, jubilation and prayers, elocution contests, quiz sessions, children's' dress and henna competitions, sports, "Taaruf programmes" and photography exhibitions will be held in the next 40 days.
