The police said the man was reported missing four days ago.

The police had been trying to trace him, showing his photograph to people in different areas.

Around 7am on Tuesday, the police received a call from a Pakistani man who saw blood-like fluid dripping from a four-wheel drive.

He noticed this while starting his pick-up vehicle parked in thesame area.

He checked the vehicle and saw a man wearing UAE national dress sitting in the front seat. The police arrived on the scene and cordoned off the area till 6pm. The police could not open the car door. Finally, with the permission of public prosecutors, they shifted the vehicle with the body to theforensic laboratory.

A police officer said the man was identified on Wednesday but the cause of the death is not yet ascertained. The body was badly decomposed, as it had remained in the vehicle for three days in the hot weather. He refused to reveal the name of the man, but said investigations are on.
