Brigadier Saeed Obaid Al Mazrouey, Director-General of the Police Operations of the Abu Dhabi Police, said this initiative will further enhance the effectiveness of the police force in the emirate.

Brig. Al Mazrouey made these observations during a graduation ceremony of a special training course on the latest anti-crime techniques.

The course — which was attended by 22 trainee officers from various police stations — concluded two days ago in the capital.

Brig. Al Mazrouey also called upon the police trainee officers to make thorough use of the knowledge that they gain from such special training programmes.

Lt-Col Mohammed Ghadeer Al Katbi, Director-General of the Capital Police, and a number of senior officers were also present on the occasion.
