Toomaj Salehi risks being hanged after the conviction on the Shariah charge of "corruption on Earth" by a Revolutionary Court
Heavy fog shrouded Al Ain, Sharjah and Dubai yesterday morning reducing visibility to 100m at its lowest, according to Dubai Meteorological office duty forecaster Clive Stevens. Al Ain experienced fog from 2am to 8am with visibility down to 100m, Sharjah had fog from 4am to 8am with visibility up to 300m while Dubai had fog between 4am and 6am and visibility down to 200m.
Stevens warned there was a risk of fog again this morning and tomorrow morning.
“March is the foggiest month with an average of 2.6 fog days,” Stevens said. The maximum record fog days in March was nine. “When the wind comes down from the north, if it’s strong, it doesn’t get a chance to pick up moisture,” he said. “But in March the air is moving slowly across the water and picks up humidity.”
October is the next foggiest month with an average of 2.2 fog days.
