On November 20, the police received information about a shop theft at the Al Khawaneej area.

According to the police officials, the main door of the shop was destroyed and money was stolen.

“As the thief was on his way out at around 5am, a barber spotted him and tried to pin him down,” officials said.

“But the thief kicked him and ran away. After this, the barber called the police.”

Based on the description, the police suspected a Yemeni national by the name of Mansour Ali Ahmed to be behind the crimes. The cops set a trap for him and started to monitor the shops in and around the Khawaneej area.

At around 6pm on November 24, the police spotted the man at the Nad Al Sheba area. Mansour first denied of any involvement in the thefts but the barber identified him.
