Runa Laila, the singing sensation of the subcontinent, will rock the audience along with a group of 45 celebrities and artistes from Bangladesh. Popular TV actor Afzal Hossain will anchor the show. The event is held outside Bangladesh to serve the dual objectives of promoting Bangladeshi culture abroad and developing a closer relationship with the host country. “We are happy with the show as these type of programmes help exchange cultural views with the Arab world and builds a bridge of understanding between the two communities,” says Mahmudur Rahman, Commercial Counsellor in Bangladeshi consulate, Dubai.
