ABU DHABI — Emirates Auction will organise the second distinguished vehicle registration number auction of ‘B’ series numbers of Umm Al Quwain at 4pm at Al Baraha Ballroom of Intercontinental Hotel, Dubai Festival City, on October 11.
The auction of 122 numbers will be held in coordination with the Umm Al Quwain Police.
Executive director of Emirates Auction Abdullah Al Manaie said the auction will get a huge response as the UAQ Police Directorate has authorised Emirates Auction to introduce a raffle to give the customers a chance to win a brand new Lamborghini LP560.
Every Dh1,000 spent on purchasing number plates will allow the bidder one entry for the draw, thus providing more chances to win the car.
The Dubai Economic Department will supervise the draw, he added.
The auction is likely to attract hundreds of fans who are fond of getting distinguished number plates, especially numbers 4, 23, 10, 11, 99 and 101 will go under the hammer, with the nominal value starting from Dh3,000.
Emirates Auction had earlier organised the first auction of ‘B’ series numbers of Umm Al Quwain. As many as 950 people attended that auction to bid for 100 number plates worth Dh 24,441,000.
