Art Exhibition to Showcase Works of 14 Women Artists

Patronised by Shaikha Manal bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, president of the Dubai Women Establishment and wife of Shaikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Presidential Affairs, the event will showcase works of 14 promising young Emirati women artists. These were selected from various colleges and universities in the UAE to visit ‘Art Basel’, the renowned international art fair in Switzerland.

Titled ‘Collective Experience’, the event would outline the creative journey undertaken by the young female students and their interaction with fellow students and members of academia in Basel. It includes museum visits and ‘behind-the-scenes’ glimpse into the world of restoration and other cultural activities, including opera.
