The web site is a quality resource full of information on Arab Aid and the various independent bodies that make up the organisation. The organisation has given loans worth over $70 billion over the past 30 years to 147 countries for projects involving education, healthcare, infrastructure, agriculture and poverty alleviation.

Information on the site lists the countries that have benefited from Arab Aid, their concentration geographically and the development projects that have been undertaken in these countries.

There are also introductions to the eight national aid organisations that make up the ANRDI and the site is in English, Arabic and French.

A map of the world on the web site captures quite clearly the scope of aid projects undertaken by the ANRDI. This tri-lingual web site also has sections for the latest news and photographs from the various development projects worldwide.

The website provides an online community where the member institutions can meet to exchange information.

Arab Aid comprises the Abu Dhabi Fund for Development, Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development, the Saudi Fund for Development, the Islamic Development Bank, the Opec Fund for International Development, the Arab Fund for Economic and Social Development, the Arab Bank for Economic Development in Africa (BADEA) and the Arab Gulf Programme for United Nations Development Institutions (Agfund).

The group had a strong presence at the Annual Meetings of the World Bank Group and IMF held in Dubai recently.

It hosted a seminar at which the President of Agfund, Prince Talal Abdulaziz Al Saud, was the keynote speaker. The seminar discussed improved coordination of support for projects in developing countries around the world. The group also participated in a major regional exhibition held by Dubai 2003 to promote the work of different organisations throughout the Arab world to the international audience attending the event.

As part of the ongoing international awareness campaign the organisation also runs television commercials on CNN, BBC World and TV5 to promote its work.
