Applicants for land asked to contact centres

DUBAI - The committee which grants residential lands to Dubai citizens has called on them to contact the centres of Al Towar and Umm Suqaim in Dubai Municipality, besides visiting the municipality web site to update their applications.

The committee, at its meeting recently presided over by General Seif Al Shaafar, urged the citizens to cooperate with the relevant municipality authorities to enable it take necessary decisions on the applications.

The committee reviewed several topics listed in the agenda, including the procedures guide for special transactions of the forms used in the Customer Service Centre affiliated to the Housing Division.

The committee also reviewed the files of 32 cases referred to it by the Housing Division and gave it's relevant recommendations for final approval by the municipality's Director General. The committee met four times last month, during which time 13 different topics were discussed and 13 recommendations made, of which 11 were carried out. Besides, 45 updated applications conforming to Resolution No 16 were endorsed.
