Thousands of visitors and art enthusiasts visited the nine-day event, which featured art works by international artists displayed on theme-styled platforms distributed throughout the mall.
The event proved a great success with 21 paintings, estimated at Dh30,000 being sold. Up to 17 artists, including Lebanese, British, Sudanese, South Africans, Iraqis, New Zealanders, Indians, Germans, Portuguese, and UAE citizens provided a multinational feel to the exhibition.
Dr Aliou Gassama, President of the Senegal Business and Professional Council, attended the exhibition in support of compatriot and renowned brushless finger artist, Mamadou Diakhate, and expressed his admiration for the collection at Arts Oasis.
“The event was well organised with paintings of high calibre and exhibitions like these add value to cultural and art events hosted by Dubai year round through.”
