Ambulatory Care Centre

DUBAI — Residents of Dubai will soon have access to an ambulatory care centre in the UAE following the inauguration of Welcare Ambulatory Care Center (WACC) at the Knowledge Village yesterday.

The Welcare Ambulatory Care Centre will be set over an area of 13,000 sq-ft and will offer all major specialities ranging from Cardiology, Rheumatology, Nephrology, ENT, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Ultrasound, Physiotherapy, Radiology and laboratory services.

Ahmad bin Byat, Director-General of Dubai Technology and Media Free Zone Authority, said: “If the UAE is to continue benchmarking healthcare standards in the region, we need to further strengthen its infrastructure through the creation of convenient healthcare solutions. I am sure the latest initiative from the Varkey Group will be well received by the residents in and around the Knowledge Village as it ensures quality medical services on their doorstep.”
