Ajman Ruler to open ‘Quality of Life in UAE’ Conference

AJMAN - His Highness Shaikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Member of Supreme Council and Ruler of Ajman will inaugurate tomorrow a conference on Quality of Life in UAE at the Kempinski Hotel in Ajman.

The conference will discuss the fact and the state’s performance in the global reporting and ways to improve them in the classification of the report “Global happiness” issued by the “Earth Institute” at Columbia University.

The conference which is being held under an initiative of Ajman Executive Council and in collaboration with Emirates Competitiveness will mull over the best practices and experiences of countries in the field of quality of life and efforts and endeavors and contributions of the State in providing the highest levels of prosperity and welfare to its citizens in the light of the initiatives of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, who is a supportive patron and catalyst for quality and excellence locally, regionally and globally.

The Conference will host more than 250 decision makers and dignitaries in the state and a list of notable speakers which includes, Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed Belhaif Al Nuaimi, Minister of Public Works, Prof. John Helliwell, co-author of the World Happiness Report and a number of senior officials.

H.H. Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown prince of Ajman and Chairman of Executive Council has hailed the efforts and the role of the wise leadership led by the President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan andVice -President and Prime Minister of theUAE and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and Their Highnesses Supreme Council Members and Rulers of the Emirates, who have paid special attention and considerable efforts to adopt development plans which are designed to achieve prosperity, security and stability and a decent life for individuals.
