Yahay Ibrahim Al Reyaysa, Director of AMPD, said that he had held meetings with heads of departments and discussed ways to execute the project.

The municipality will classify all restaurants and cafeterias in the emirate as first class, second class and third class, based on the quality of food, the design and services provided. It will also issue regulations that will govern the signboards of commercial outlets. The decoration and beautification project which includes lighting will cover areas that had never been supplied with electricity before, especially areas located at the entrances of the emirates from various sides.

He pointed out that the project would be executed along with other beautification plans. “This would contribute to enhancing the infrastructure in Ajman. Some main roads will be upgraded to keep pace with the rapid development of the emirate,” he noted.
