ADU honours sudents

ABU DHABI — Abu Dhabi University, the capital's premier private academic institution, held an appreciation ceremony for all its students and faculty members who participated in the extracurricular activities organised by the university.

The ceremony took place on the campus and was attended by the university's senior management, faculty, students' clubs, and student affairs officials. Arranged by the Student Affairs Department, the ceremony was a token of appreciation for the Student Council members both males and females for their efforts throughout the academic year.

The clubs that were honoured at this ceremony were the Male Student Council, Sports Teams, the Talents Club, the Cultural Club, the Future Makers Club, the Female Student Council, the CS Fun Club, and the Zayed Community Service Club.

"ADU is committed to developing students not only academically, but also culturally and socially. The formation of student clubs and councils complements the high quality academic courses offered by the university, and aims to provide our youth with a holistic educational experience from which they will develop themselves and increase their knowledge in many different areas," said Ali Saeed Bin Harmal Al Dhaheri, ADU Chancellor.
