Already in the first six months of this year there were nearly 21,000 hotel guests from France in the capital. To increase French awareness on Abu Dhabi destinations, a tourism industry delegation from the emirate, led by ADTA will go to Paris in September.

The delegation, which will include property developer Aldar, Anantara Group - which operates the Desert Islands Resort and Spa - and DBA & Sons, a UAE business group, will be part of a 160 square metre Abu Dhabi pavilion at the IFTM-Top Resa travel show which runs in Paris from September 22-25.

“This is perhaps the most important B2B travel event in France, a market which last year produced 36,715 guests for hotels throughout Abu Dhabi emirate. French results for the first six months of this year is well on track to sustain, if not surpass, last year’s performance,” said Mubarak Al Nuaimi, international promotions manager at ADTA. — silvia@khaleejtimes.com
