Admissions open at Khalifa varsity
ABU DHABI - Admissions for the graduate programmes at the Khalifa University is now open and students can apply for the Spring Semester of 2011-12 academic year until December 15. Admissions are also open for the academic year 2012-13.
The graduate programmes include Master of Science in Information Security, Nuclear Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Communication Engineering and Computer Engineering. A post graduate progamme in Civil and International Security is also being offered along with PhD programmes in Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering and Communication Engineering.
“Khalifa University’s graduate programmes have received the academic accreditation from the UAE’s Ministry of Higher Education. They are designed to fulfill the growing needs of the market in the UAE and align closely with the Abu Dhabi’s 2030 vision to diversify industry sectors in the UAE and expand the knowledge economy,” said Dr Mohammed Al Mualla, Khalifa University’s Interim Provost. For the Emiratis, the UAE national graduate scholarship programme, ‘Buhooth’, covers tuition fees and any expenses of attending academic conferences and scientific trips and competitive salary packages are offered in exchange for studying full time at the university.
Khalifa University also has an active career counseling programme with a strong track record of finding jobs for students upon graduation.
