Administrative sciences meet opens today
ABU DHABI — The 27th International Congress of Administrative Sciences will open today at the Emirates Palace Hotel in Abu Dhabi under the patronage of Gen. Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces.
The conference which lasts up to Saturday is being held under the theme of “Global Competitiveness and Public Administration”. Eng. Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansouri, Minister for Government Sector Development, said that about 160 countries would take part in the conference which is being organised by the Institute of Administrative Development in association with the International Association of Schools and Institutes of Administration (IASIA).
The Emirates Palace yesterday saw seven meetings held on the sidelines of the conference. Franz Strehl, IASIA President, took part in these events.
