Activities lined up for Pakistan I-Day
DUBAI - The Pakistan Association Dubai is planning to celebrate the Independence Day of Pakistan, which falls on August 14, in a big way.
Two events have been lined up for this purpose. The first event is going to take place on the Independence Day itself at Pakistan Sports and Recreation Club.
An awards distribution ceremony will be held to honour the volunteer workers of the ‘Earthquake Relief Camp’. The students of all the Pakistani schools who secured first position in Grades X and XII will also be awarded.
The second event will be a talk show called ‘Chalo Phir Muskuraien’ which will be held on August 17 at the auditorium of Iranian Club, Dubai. Famous artistes from Pakistan, such as Moin Akhtar, Anwar Maqsood and Behroz Sabzwari will be flown in to perform the talk show.
