ABU DHABI — The Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority (ADTA) is going to launch internationally the newly-announced brand identity of Abu Dhabi emirate. The launch will take place during the World Travel Market (WTM) 2007 being held from November 12-15 in London.
By participating in the show, ADTA is also hoping to attract more investors and tourists here, as well as to further promote its most recent projects. Around 50,000 exhibitors from all over the world are expected to participate in WTM.
ADTA pavilion, covering an area of 610 square metres, will feature the local tourism industry represented by important players , including Abu Dhabi Airport Company, Abu Dhabi National Hotels, Al Dar, Danat Hotels and Resorts and the Emirates Palace Hotel. Along with ADTA, 200 other exhibitors from both the UAE government and the private sector will also participate in the WTM.
Mubarak Hamad Al Muhairi, director-general of ADTA, said that Abu Dhabi’s participation in this event aims at positioning the emirate as a leading destination for luxury tourism and enhancing ADTA’s partnership with the private sector.
“Abu Dhabi’s participation and sponsorship of the WTM have immense potential for new local, regional and international partnerships. This also will significantly contribute to the development of Abu Dhabi’s tourism and investment sectors and provide a highly attractive environment to tourists, service providers and other interested parties. To do so, we will showcase the facilitated procedures and lucrative investment incentives offered by the emirate,” concluded Al Muhairi.
