Abu Dhabi roads saw five deaths last month

ABU DHABI — Five persons were killed, six were seriously injured and two others sustained moderate injuries in 12 accidents in Abu Dhabi last month, where pedestrians were run over by motor vehicles.

Major Mohammed Al Mazruwai, head of traffic and patrols division of the Traffic and Patrols Department, Abu Dhabi Polic, has called on all freeway users, including drivers and pedestrians, to pay much attention to avoid such accidents.

He also advised motorists to slow their speed, and take every care, especially, in densely-populated areas on the Abu Dhabi-Dubai highway and on the streets of Mousffa industrial area, which see motor vehicles running in high speed.
