Abu Dhabi committee
reviews draft projects

ABU DHABI — The Executive Committee chaired by Mohammed Ahmed Al Bawardi, Secretary-General of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, reviewed the drafts submitted by the Department of Finance on the adoption of the budget for operational initiatives and capital projects for three departments in the emirate
for the current year.

The meeting held at the Crown Prince’s Court in Abu Dhabi also reviewed the budget estimates for Abu Dhabi Media Company and the operational budget of the Khalifa University for the current year.

The Executive Committee also approved the draft report prepared by the Department of Economic
Development that contains the economic outlook for the Emirate of Abu Dhabi 2010.

The report, to be released soon, contains the projections of the Government of Abu Dhabi on the economic developments in the emirate during the current year.

The report aims to remove the uncertainty and lack of information on economic developments expected in the near future in the economy of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi through the provision of information and forecasts.

The committee also discussed other items on the agenda and took appropriate decisions. —
