Abu Dhabi college begins new academic year

ABU DHABI - The UAE Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Shaikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, yesterday visited the Abu Dhabi Men's College (ADMC) on the first day of the new academic year at the college, and toured the new college library and teaching facilities.

Shaikh Nahyan, who is also the Chancellor of the Higher Colleges of Technology was escorted by Dr Tayeb Kamali, Director of the ADMC, who briefed him about college initiatives for this year, and its various programmes and facilities, during the tour of the college premises. It included the Media and Graphics lab, the Engineering facilities, and the newly constructed Certificate and Diploma programme building which has 15 classrooms equipped with the most up-to-date teaching instruments.

Dr Kamali said that the 1000 sq. mts building only took eight weeks to complete.
