Abu Dhabi civic body honours Choithram's Khalidiya branch
ABU DHABI - The Food and Environment Control Centre (FECC) at Abu Dhabi Municipality and Town Planning has honoured the Khalidiya branch of Choithram Supermarkets in the capital for maintaining the best hygienic standard for 2003 among the supermarkets.
Dr Amin Mohammed Yousuf, FECC Director, said the award was part of the new policy adopted by the municipality to bridge gaps and forge ties between the centre and the business fraternity, especially in issues pertaining to public health.
Honouring outlets which maintain quality hygiene standards will encourage businessmen to compete for the best, which will in turn boost the quality of services offered to the residents of the capital, added Dr Yousuf.
