Shaikh Abdullah has 670,000 followers on the social network. The foreign minister’s designation is not mentioned in his Twitter profile.

One follower asked him why his tweets don’t reflect matters pertaining to his work as UAE foreign minister, to which Shaikh Abdullah said his twitter account is a personal one in the name of Abdullah and without official portfolio or title prefixes.

Shaikh Abdullah is one of the most popular Emirati personalities on Twitter, as he courteously interacts with his followers, replies to their queries and supports charity, social and educational campaigns.
