The work was unveiled by the artists at the Oasis Hospital recently. The eight large murals, which were conceived, designed and painted by many students over the past year, depict scenes of Emirati life and folklore of the Gulf region.

Al Al Ain Women’s College students unveiled each painting at the playground, one by one, telling a bit about the concept for each scene. Brightly coloured walls that corresponded to the murals made the perfect backdrop for each scene, which will surely be loved and admired by all who visit the playground.

The students also gave financial aid to the hospital, where many of them or their family members were born.
Beverley Baxter and Dawn Seddon, represented the Al Ain Women’s College and oversaw the mural project.
