The UAE foundation is dedicated to assisting children diagnosed with a life-threatening medical condition and their families by providing an avenue for hope, strength and joy through the fulfilment of special wishes.

This Ramadan, the Make-A-Wish –Foundation collaborated with Al Ain Mineral Water to make the sisters’ wish come true by sponsoring their air fare, as well as 5-star hotel accommodation for five days in Saudi Arabia. They are scheduled to leave for Umrah after Eid, accompanied by their parents. “We value this partnership with Al Ain Water and it has succeeded in making wishes come true at such a special time during the holy month of Ramadan, a month of giving and generosity.

I call on all national corporations to take this example and help bring joy to the hearts of children with life-threatening medical conditions,” Shaikha Shaikha bint Saif Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Make-A-Wish Foundation UAE, said.

Through the Make-A-Wish Foundation, wishes are being brought to reality. The wish-process involves actively visiting hospitals in and around the UAE and liaising with medical professionals and social workers to facilitate experiences that will delight and inspire children with terminal conditions.

Donations from individuals and companies such as Al Ain Mineral Water provide the financial support the foundation requires to grant the children’s wishes.

“Ramadan is the month of charitable giving, and we are honoured to have helped the Umrah dream to come true at this particular time,” said Fasahat Beg, General Manager of Agthia’s Consumer Business Division. Al Ain Mineral Water is the flagship water brand of Agthia Group.

Al Ain Mineral Water and Make-A-Wish Foundation will also be granting a number of wishes during Eid, helping to bring joy in the lives of many more children.

These include giving away laptops, iPads and iPhones to children.
