Eid Al Adha celebrations were in full swing in the Capital on Tuesday.
The Indian Social and Cultural Centre (ISC), in association with LuLu Group, held cultural programmes to mark the festival.
Ghazal singers enthralled the crowd at ISC hall with golden hits. Classical rendition of the hits by ghazal singer Pankaj Udhas and Mehndi Hassan transported listeners to a different world. Listeners, even children, were seen lost in rapture, as Deewaron Se Mil Kar Rona and Chithi Aayi Hai. were sung.
ISC president M Thomas Varghese said the annual event was a well-attended one. "People from all communities took part in the event. This time, it's more special as Eid and Onam are falling in the same week," he said.
Later, all guests savoured the biryani feast.
