Dr Abdallah Al Amiri, head of the Industrial Training and Graduation Project Unit (ITGPU), felicitated the students and the industry partners at a presentation day function at which the college’s Dean, Prof. Richard Williams presented the 35 industry partners with certificates of appreciation.

Dr Al Amiri said the ITGPU programme was organised to enable engineering students gain expertise, aptitude to work under direction, competitiveness and organisational skills.

“The college training plan focuses on communication skills, modernisation, innovation and relationship with administrators and colleagues,” Al Amiri said.

Each student submitted to the college with the respective company’s approval a report on his or her work experience.
